Hey friends!

Psalm 1

"But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper." — Psalm 1:2-3

A tree is a picture of strength, stability, and provision. It stands tall, unmoved by the storms, because its roots run deep. It provides shade, offering comfort and protection. It flourishes in every season, drawing from a constant source of water. This is what God desires for you.

When you meditate on His Word daily, you are like that tree—deeply rooted in truth, unwavering in trials, and fruitful in your purpose. The world may be uncertain, but you will remain steadfast because your foundation is built on the eternal wisdom of God.

A tree does not grow strong overnight; it thrives because it is continually nourished. In the same way, your spiritual growth depends on the daily intake of Scripture. The more you feast on God’s Word, the more you will experience His peace, wisdom, and stability in your life.

Application:

Make it a priority to consume God’s Word every day. Not just when it’s convenient, but as a non-negotiable part of your life.

  • Challenge yourself to read your physical Bible daily. There is something powerful about opening the pages and encountering God without distraction.

  • Dedicate yourself to reading books of the Bible in their wholeness. Don’t rush through.

  • Buy a pocket Bible. Keep it with you so that no excuse can keep you from reading. Whether you’re on the train, in a waiting room, or taking a break, you will always have access to His Word.

Let the Word of God take root in you. As you meditate on it, you will grow into the person God created you to be—strong, unshaken, and full of life.
