What are the Practical Benefits of Surrendering Your Life to Jesus Christ?

Did you know that we are living in an incredibly blessed time? Matthew 11:11 tells us that even though John the Baptist was the greatest born at the time, "the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." This statement is remarkable because it highlights the privilege we have today — we are standing on the finished work of Jesus Christ.

Why is this relevant? Because we have access to the power and presence of the living God like never before. Jesus has already conquered sin and death, and He currently reigns at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us, as Romans 8:34 teaches.

We aren’t striving to reach God; we have direct access to Him through Christ. The God we serve is active and alive, offering us full assurance in our faith and the opportunity to experience His power daily.

Yet, this access hinges on one key element: faith.

Hebrews 11:6 reminds us that it is impossible to please God without faith. The entire Bible is a testament to faith — belief in God's promises, His power, and His plan. We are called to be a people who truly believe in the living God, not just following religious routines but actively seeking His presence and power in our lives.

This week, I challenge you to meditate on the reality of God's power and pray for a deeper revelation of His Spirit in your life.

Remember, the same God who parted the Red Sea, delivered the Israelites countless times, and raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who dwells in you.

Do you believe in this God? If so, let's surrender our desires and allow ourselves to be fully devoted to His will. He will never disappoint.
