Lord Save Me From Myself- Steps to Humility, Repentance & Change in Christ

Hi friends! Bible study was held on Thursday, January 30th, and we talked about the powerful theme of "Lord, Save Me From Myself." Often, we get in our own way and don’t fully walk in the light and glory of what Christ has done for us—He has set us free. We say we believe, we say we believe in the power of the Lord, but do we truly? If we did, we would be actively pursuing constant growth through these four important steps.

1. Acknowledgment through Humility: We begin by recognizing our need for God and humbling ourselves before Him.

2. Prayer: In every situation, prayer helps us bring our concerns to God, allowing His peace to guard our hearts and minds. It is also our spiritual tool and is not only for crisis but for longevity.

3. Application of God’s Word: We don’t just listen to God’s Word; we live it out, allowing it to transform us. Just as Jesus was the Living Word. We reflect the Word as well.

4. Application and Study: Understanding Scripture in context is essential to applying it in our lives, stepping into all that God has for us. Step out of legalism, and step outside of selfishness. The Scriptures point to Christ..

All in all, the Gospel is the Good News. It brings salvation, hope and joy.

As we continue to grow in Christ, let's remember to humbly acknowledge our need for Him, pray with trust, apply His Word, and study it to unlock the abundant life He’s prepared for us.
