Understanding the Concept of Freedom in Christ Jesus

Hi friends! Did you know that you have authority in Christ? Because of His sacrifice, your sins are forgiven, and you are made new. Your life is now hidden in Christ (Colossians 3:3).

Since this is true, it’s time to step into that authority. To walk in authority means to live like Christ. In Luke 4, Jesus declared that He came to set the oppressed free and proclaim the kingdom of God.

This means that we actively embrace our freedom. We constantly pray, and we bring the kingdom of God to earth through love, holiness, and obedience. Our basis of life is our faith (Hebrews 11) in who God is- through his Spirit, his Son, and through the Holy Spirit. Lastly, we continue on in our life through striving for the spiritual things not the earthly things.

As children of God, we are His kingdom here on earth. The church is His body, and we are called to walk in the authority He has given us.

So today, let’s stand firm in Christ and boldly live out His purpose!
