The Power of Unconditional Love: Embracing Jesus' Love and Sacrifice

Today, I want you to take a moment to grasp that Jesus loves you. Really really. He loves you so much and continues to be our mediator.

Romans 8:36-39 states,

As it is written:

“For your sake, we face death all day long;    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers,  neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Wow. Take a moment to truly absorb that. The only thing humans have for certain is death. We are all born to d*e, sadly, but- FAITH IN JESUS brings us peace, hope, and reconciliation with the Father.

Even with this promise of death, nothing surpasses the love that God has for us. This is profoundly demonstrated through the love of His son, Jesus. Not only did He come down to Earth, born of man, but He also empathized with us, understanding our struggles. He worked a regular job, started His ministry, healed the sick, and ultimately died for our sins. Now death is defeated and we can have eternal life through Him.

He is not just a man, or a great teacher, or a prophet. He is the REAL DEAL. He is the WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIGHT. HE IS GOD IN FLESH.  Even now, He sits at the right hand of the living God, interceding on our behalf.
