The Power of Resting in God's Love: How to Find Peace and Comfort

Are you resting in the love of God?

Did you know God loves us. We were made righteous by the blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 13:11-15). You do not have to earn a spot.  All you have to do is accept the gift.

Romans 5:1-2 states,  Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

You don’t have to earn the love of God. God has ALWAYS loved us but hated our sins. When Jesus got on the cross, he put to death our sins. When he resurrected, he put to death the plan of the enemy.

We are ALWAYS loved. But in Christ, we are blameless and free. It is not earned, it is by faith. FOR FREE. Rest in that love, and then obey. The Bible gives us every instruction on how to be saved through faith, then baptism, then holiness and sanctification.

NO ONE IS PERFECT, but we must let these truths sink in our HEART, and then we must ACT accordingly.
