Hi friends! Today, I want to talk about being reflective in the Lord.
We live in a world where we consume so much information—news, social media, conversations, to-do lists—but when was the last time you truly sat and reflected on the goodness of God?
We often talk about reflecting, but what does that actually mean? Let’s break it down:
Adoration & Praise
Reflection begins with recognizing who God is and what He has done. Think about His goodness, His faithfulness, and His love. Psalm 103:2 reminds us, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits." Take a moment today to praise Him—not just for what He’s done, but for who He is.
Prayer
Prayer is our direct line to God. The Bible tells us, "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people." (Ephesians 6:18). How amazing is it that we have unlimited access to our Heavenly Father? And even when we don’t know what to pray, Jesus Himself is interceding for us (Romans 8:34). Let that sink in—right now, at this very moment, Jesus is speaking on your behalf!
Resting in His Presence
Sometimes, reflection means being still. No TV, no music, no distractions—just you and God. We are spiritual beings, and just like our bodies need rest, our souls need to be recharged in the presence of the Lord. Psalm 46:10 tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God." There is something powerful about silent moments with Him.
💡 Application
This week, take time to reflect—think on His goodness, talk to Him in prayer, and rest in His presence. You’ll be amazed at how it strengthens your spirit and brings you peace.
Be blessed and have an amazing week!
