Mindset Shift: Your Life Does Not Begin With You. It Starts with The Lord.

Here’s a shift in perspective: Remember, nothing starts with you.

What do I mean by that? If God created us in His image (Genesis 1:27), we were made to reflect Him—to do good, live with purpose, and worship Him.

However, because of sin, we were separated from God at birth, and our true selves were hidden in Christ Jesus. To discover who we really are, we must be reborn again.

Once we are reborn, 1 Corinthians 2:11-12 reminds us that God’s Spirit reveals His mind to us:“For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. What we have received is not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.”

The world can never provide the understanding, peace, or purpose that comes from the Spirit.

Be encouraged: God has given us His Spirit so we can fully grasp the depth of His love, wisdom, and the blessings He has prepared for us.

This means that without being connected to God’s thoughts, we’re not fully living!
