Jesus is the Reason for The Season : A Prayer for Understanding

Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season.

Isaiah 9:6: states "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace"

In Jesus, we have counsel, protection, love, steadfastness, peace, joy, and abundance. We have eternal life.

This week pray this prayer:

Lord, I seek to know who your son Jesus is. Give me a deeper and fuller revelation of you God. Lord, I ask that you strengthen me. Give me more discernment, and increase my fear of the Lord. Allow me to fully understand your triumph power as the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. Allow me to fully surrender to worship. & Increase my care and knowledge and reverence for an eternal perspective. Give me insight into what to get rid of, and allow me to be surrounded by true discipleship, teaching, and love. Allow your Holy Spirit to pierce my heart and do what He does best. Teach me what it means to seek the Kingdom. Show me the truth. In Jesus' Name, I pray amen.
