Happy Wednesday! Here’s some good news, our God is STILL ALIVE. We do not serve a dead God. He is the LIVING WATER.
If you don’t know, in the Bible there was a Samaritan lady at the well (John 4:7-31) who Jesus met and her entire life was changed.
She was an outcast to society, and was plagued by shame, and guilt, and probably had a hard heart. She was probably used to people discarding her or ignoring her; especially as a woman at the time who was committing “adultery”.
Jesus met her at the well, spoke to her, prophesied over her life, and brought her comfort. When she found out that Jesus was THE TRUTH, she dropped the container she was using to get water and ran to tell everyone.
The water that she needed, was nothing in comparison to Jesus.
This story is too expansive to explain in this message, but the point is, that GOD IS OUR LIVING WATER. He is alive, He quenches our thirst, AND HE IS STILL ALIVE TODAY.
LET US REJOICE. THE SAME WAY HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY FOR THE LADY AT THE WELL, IS THE SAME THING HE DOES TO MEET US.
